At Dr. Sketchy we want life drawing to be more than just nude models and serious sketching.

So we've scoured this great city to find beautiful burlesque performers, bizarre circus acts, and rippling hunks of man-flesh.

Then we let them loose on stage to release the artist in you! In between each round of sketching our larger-than-life models you get a chance to grab a drink get comfortable and take in some of the finest burlesque, comedy, music, poetry and quirky cabaret performances the big smoke has to offer.

Dr Sketchy isn't about being an amazing artist, it’s about having fun and you might even win a prize! So don't be shy and put pencil to paper, move it around and see what happens – you might be surprised!

It's what art classes would be if the class was unleashed in the Moulin Rouge.

Dr Sketchy was founded in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple in New York City. And is now an international phenomenon that takes place in 80 cities (and counting) around the world. To find our more about the original Dr. Sketchy and Molly Crabapple herself go to www.drsketchy.com

1. Who is Dr Sketchy London?

Dr. Sketchy London is organised by Clare Marie and hosted by Dusty Limits.

2. Are there limited tickets?

There are a limited number of tickets due to the venue size. Tickets can either be bought in advance on this website or on the door.

We work on a first-come-first-served policy so we advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment especially if attending in groups

3. What should I bring? What mediums can I use?

We provide a limited number of sheets of A4 and A3 paper and pencils. You are welcome to bring your sketchpads, drawing boards and pencils, as long as it doesn't take up too much space.

All dry mediums are okay, as are neat watercolour sets. Oil paints, and other messy mediums are not okay. Please don't make a mess as most of our classes take place in pubs so we’ll get in trouble.

4. I am unable to attend the class I booked. May I reschedule or get a refund?

Due to the online payment system we use, classes are non-refundable however we can issue credits for future classes. Please get in contact to let us know you are unable to attend and we’ll happily transfer you to another date.

Of course, if you’re unable to attend, you may send someone in your place. Please provide us with that person’s name, as it will be your name on the door.
